BUTTERCUP ROAD
Buttercup Road Improvement, Hailey, Idaho
In the fall of 2024, Burks Excavation had the opportunity to reconstruct Buttercup Road adjacent to highway 75 north of Hailey, Idaho. This project consisted of pulverizing the original 2.75 mile long road surface to create a reclaimed base material which was used in conjunction with approximately 6000 tons of imported material to create an entirely new road profile.
Along with minimizing valleys and crests in the existing profile of Buttercup; our team removed and replaced over 400’ of damaged culverts from beneath the road surface. This project was completed ahead of schedule and the road is now fully open to the public.
