Road and Parking Lot Expansion - Stanley, Idaho
Commencing in the autumn of 2023, our latest project marks a significant endeavor aimed at optimizing the infrastructure of our scenic destination. The focal point of this initiative involves the meticulous removal and relocation of the main entrance road, extending approximately one mile, to enhance accessibility and streamline traffic flow.
Integral to this undertaking is the relocation of day use parking facilities and visitor center parking, strategically repositioned to align with the revised entrance road. Additionally, a new access road leading to the Glacier View campground will be constructed, complemented by the placement of 250,000 square feet of fresh asphalt, ensuring durability and longevity.
Scheduled for completion in July of 2024, this project epitomizes our commitment to continual improvement and the enhancement of visitor experiences. With careful planning and execution, we anticipate a seamless transition to a more efficient and user-friendly infrastructure, elevating the allure of our destination for years to come.
