Warmsprings Chairlift Expansion: Sun Valley, Idaho
In 2023, our company played a pivotal role in the lift enhancement project for the esteemed Sun Valley Company. This comprehensive endeavor encompassed all aspects of heavy earth moving for the top and bottom lift terminals, catering to both the new Challenger lift and the new Flying Squirrel lift. Additionally, Burks Excavation Corporation spearheaded the construction of the new Lower Flying Squirrel ski run and oversaw the meticulous installation of thousands of feet of snowmaking infrastructure.
Embarking on April 10, 2023, against the backdrop of one of the most prodigious snow years on record, our team collaborated closely with all stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Through meticulous planning and dedicated effort, we upheld our commitment to deliver results, facilitating the timely completion of the project for the 2024 season. Our unwavering dedication to meeting deadlines and fostering effective collaboration underscored our role in laying the groundwork for the successful commencement of the lifts, thus contributing to the continued enhancement of Sun Valley's renowned ski experience.
